School is back in session for the 2009-2010 school year. We have 690 students enrolled for the first day of classes. Enrollment for Mangum Schools is down slightly from last year. A five year comparison shows the following enrollments: 2006-720; 2007-698; 2008-722; 2009-710; 2010-690

Schools across the nation have received new federal funds from the government. These funds are referred to as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act CARRA). Some refer to these funds as the Stimulus Funds. These funds are tied directly to assist two programs, Federal Title I and Special Education Programs. The funds we receive are “one time money”. The funds are to be spent between April 2009 and September of 20l0.
