After a freak storm destroyed most of the fence at the Mangum Softball Field work had to be done quickly to get it ready for the season. That work is now complete and the new fence looks great. Coach Travis Reese wants to say a heartfelt I” thank you” for all those who helped in building the new Metal Fence at the Softball Field. Reese stated, “The fence looks great and is done right. It should be there a long time.”

The majority of the fence was done in 4 days. Those helping were Kevin Howard, Jack Heatly, Johnny Taylor, Scotty Webb, Roger Ford, Randy DeRusha, Bruce Gahagan, Micky Lively, Don Mitchell, Todd McRay, and some of the Mangum work center guys. Barbara Gahagan and Diane Haygood provided food for two of the evenings.
