Lady Tigers Move Up One Spot in State Ranking

The Mangum Lady Tigers had an extremely busy week, playing 10 games in 5 days and winning 8 of the 10 before losing the last 2 during the Washington Tournament. The two losses were to Purcell, #2 in Class 5A and Konawa, #2 in Class 4A. In spite of those two losses Mangum moved up to #3 in Class 4A and currently have a record of 12-3.

Mangum opened the week with two huge victories over the Hollis Lady Tigers, winning the first game 20-6 and the 2nd 26-0.

Mangum collected 18 hits in the first game and 26 in the second.

From there they hosted the Great Plains National Bank shootout where they defeated Burns Flat 12-2, Chattanooga, ranked 12th in Class 2A who they defeated 14-2 and the Elk City Lady Elks, ranked 20th in class 6A 20-5.
